OutBack FX Series Sinewave Inverter / Chargers The OutBack modular 'building block' sinewave inverter/chargers can be used for both small and large power systems in both residential and commercial applications. Each Outback inverter/charger module is a complete system - DC to AC inverter battery charger and AC transfer switch. Additional inverter/chargers can be connected at any time in either parallel (230 Vac) or three phase (230Y400 Vac) configurations, allowing the system to be tailored to the specific power requirements of the application.
Up to ten inverter/chargers can be connected together to provide up to 30kW of continuous power using a HUB10 communications manager and MATE system display. The FX series also features a programmable AUX relay that can be used for generator start-up, alarms & more. Smooth sinewave output, with high efficiency (92% max), high surge capability & low idle current.
All units feature: 30A automatic AC transfer relay. Powder coated all aluminium die-cast chassis for maximum heat dissipation. Conformal coated circuit boards to resist corrosion. Designed to allow easy field servicing and repair.
OutBack FX Series:
The OutBack FX series inverter/chargers are designed to survive harsh environments
anywhere in the world. Their unique sealed, gasketed die-cast aluminium
chassis protects the electronics against dust, corrosion, animals & insects.
The FX series can be used is high ambient temperature applications up to 60°C with reduced output ratings. All Programmed setpoints are stored in
permanent (NOV-RAM) memory to eliminate the need to re-programme the system
after a shutdown or battery replacement.

| Flex Max MPPT Solar Charge Controller | |
|
The OutBack Flex Max Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) charge controller enables your PV array to achieve its highest possible performance. Up to 30% or more power. Rated for up to 60 or 80 amps of DC current, the OutBack Flex Max can be used with battery systems from 12 to 60 VDC with PV open circuit voltage as high as 150 VOC. The Flex Max's setpoints are fully adjustable to allow use with virtually any battery type, chemistry and charging profile. The Flex Max has built in Data Logging capabilities measuring Kilowatt hours & more about your PV system for 128 Days.
The OutBack Flex Max allows you to use a higher output voltage PV array with a lower voltage battery - such as charging a 12-24 VDC battery with a 48 or 60 VDC PV array. This reduces wire size and power loss from the PV array, saving you money and maximizingthe performance of your PV system. FM60 & FM80 come standard with an easy to use and understand display of the PV system's performance. The four line, 80 character, backlit LCD display is also used for programming and monitoring of the system's operation. The OutBack Flex Max series can also be connected to the OutBack MATE system controller and display to allow monitoring of up to ten MPPT controllers from a distant location - up to 1000 feet (305m) away.

| OutBack MATE System Controller and Display | |
The OutBack MATE is a complete system controller and display for both the OutBack FX inverter/chargers and the MX60 MPPT PV charge controller.
It provides a readout display of the operation, allows control and adjustment of the setpoints, and also coordinates the operation of the entire system to maximize performance.
A single MATE is able to connect to multiple OutBack products, using a four port HUB-4 or ten port HUB-10. MATE Display and Controller can be mounted up to 1000’ (305m) away!
The OutBack MATE includes a 4-line backlit LCD display with 80 characters and a 50’ (16m) cable. All of the programmed setpoints are stored in permanent (NOV-RAM) memory to
eliminate the need to reprogram the system after a shutdown or battery replacement. The OutBack Mate also includes a built in real time clock and calendar which allows programming
of the inverter operation based on the time of day and day of the week. This can be used to allow the system to work with time-of-day power rates or to limit a generator's run time to
a specific time period of the day or week. The MATE also includes an opto-isolated RS232 port for connection to the serial port of a PC computer. Third party software programs for data
logging and graphical display of the system’s operation and performance are available separately.
